We were lucky here ... a Category 3 cyclone just missed us thankfully or we'd be experiencing the same sights in the garden. I do hope things recover quickly.

Hi Patsi. Ugh! Nothing can stand up to that kind of wind. I saw on the news where so many were having trouble with winds, downed trees and losing electricity. Glad the tree did not demolish your fence. You are going to have so much to clean up.Hope the trees can be fixed by tying them up.

Oh my, what a lot of damage. Sad to see trees brought down.. If you prune back the arborvite that might strengthen them for another winter .
Will be interested to see what changes you make and what you can save.
