Patsi, you are so right - light makes all the difference! We, who lives in the Pacific Northwest, appreciate it especially. I love your images showing how light transforms everything - a bloom, foliage, a stone...everything.

I love the autumn light - it's almost mystical. Beautiful photos!
Aha Patsi and psewald who visits in Statcounter is here! I see you like to add hardiness zones to your blogroll - put me down as Mediterranean like the Californian chaparral.
Love how you have captured the light! The sun is definitely changing quickly for autumn.
This is an inspiring post, Patsi. Your posts fit the thought so well!
Oops! "Pictures" fit the thought so well.. (Time to call it a day. My brain isn't working too well.)
Hi Patsi - a wonderful post to cheer up yet another grey, dismal, chilly day here. I love those hostas.
Your hosta photos are gorgeous! I love the way light can transform a garden. I especially like to take photos in late afternoon, when our sunlight is more gentle and golden.
