  4. I'm so jealous! I grew some tomato plants in containers this year and they did diddly squat! I was so mad. I was getting lots of flowers, but no fruit. I finally gave up on them this week. Yours look lovely.

    Marnie,
His Mom had tons of her own when we got there that my husband started BUT she couldn't tend to them. So I cleaned up her beds(huge weeds) and tied up about 30 plants. Now she can see them.

  12. Look at all those pretty tomatoes! I am growing Mr. Stripey and orange oxehearts this year. The orange ones are mild and sweet. I've only gotten a few of the others. After they were planted I read a blog that said they don't taste good, so I was relieved when I had one and liked it. I made soup today from garden veggies and included lots of tomatoes.

  13. Sue,
My husband has so far zero production on Mr Stripey. The other one we can remember off hand. da
Soup sounds really good...we should can some tomatoes for soup this winter.
