We see these beautiful sites and more everytime on our way to visit family. Never took pictures before. Didn't buy the hydrangeas because I remember years ago, made a hydrangea wreath that only lasted a few weeks before falling apart.
Thought this post might be fun if you'd never been to Long Island...glad you enjoyed.
Patsi, I purchased a nice, full bunch of hydrangea flowers a few years ago. I put them in a tall vase, and they've stayed there ever since. (Their color fades a bit, but I still like them!) Some people spray the flowers with hair spray. :-) I've never been to Long Island, and your photos were a great way to "travel!"
Thanks Patsi, I have never been to New York at all and really enjoyed seeing Long Island through your eyes and lens. You did a masterful job of giving us a taste of the landscapes. Frances
What beautiful scenes and wildlife you captured on camera.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed my visit to Long Island here, nice variety of captures. I really like the shot of the birds flocking!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your road trip, Patsi. You have captured some stunning fall foliage photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Patsi, Excepting for that lone deer, I noticed lines and groups! :-) Great photos. You must have had a fun trip. Thanks for sharing.
