Foliage Peak

Our foliage season runs throughout October and as you can see into November.
Here are pics of a visit to a local park minutes from our house.
It was exciting seeing all the different colors while walking around the many paths located on 370 acres.
I have to get out more often !

The sun began to set...

  1. How marvelous! This could be a coffee table book! Love the heron hiding in the shrubbery. If that is not fall foliage at its peak......

  3. As always, you have stunning photos! I think we're all enjoying the fall colors. It's just getting glorious here in NC, but we've got rain today so the leaves are coming off the trees.

  6. Those are so awesome. I am smug about our mild winters and lack of ice and snow, but your Fall puts ours to shame. We simply don't get to experience beauty like this. Gorgeous photos, I'm seething with Fall jealousy.

Sorry to hear about your computer! Hope you are back online very quickly.

  10. I'm catching up on my favorite blogs I missed on my 'days off'.

Those are amazing photos. Such intense reds. Beautiful. We had a very nice year here too. The heavy winds of last night stripped the trees. They look bleak.

  12. Beautiful photos. Fall is such a great time to get out and take photos. The weather is usually comfortable and the colors are spectacular, at least for a few weeks. I hope to get out to some local parks this weekend and take a few shots of my own.

I'll try not to let it go to my head !!

    Will stop by Gail.

Today we got a new computer, but
I expect problems figuring it out Saturday.

Shady, it's a gray heron. He had a fish in his mouth but I couldn't get a clear shot of that.

Hope to see your pics Chad and Brandy.
