Special Days

Another Question about garden bloggers.
I noticed not all bloggers choose to use these subjects.
And I believe you don't have to link back to the inventor or host.
Are these all the Special Blogger Day Titles?

Bloom Day-Blogger's Bloom Day

-maydreamsgardens the 15th of every month
Is this day for what's currently blooming?

Also
Is there a "question day" for people like me who ask questions all the time ?
I'm not trying to be funny.
Maybe there's a place to go with questions?
Google Groups are very limited in their help department.
But I did find this very helpful-Dummies Guide to Google Blogger Beta
Anyway having special days is a clever idea. I like them.
Thanks for any help.

  1. Most of the "round robin" sports game (everyone takes a turn) with subjects are coming from bloggers who are registered with Blotanical. I just recently joined, but I've not yet found the source/complete info on how to mark the calender for these topics. Cameron

  3. I can't seem to post at Blotanical.
They're saying I need 500 points to post. And one of the ways to get points is to post!!
I'll keep giving it a go.

  4. Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day (blooming on the 15th of the month) by Carol at May dreams Gardens, Green Thumb Sunday (what's blooming each Sunday) by As the Garden Grows, Garden Bloggers' Muse Day by Sweet Home and Gardens Chicago, the first day of each month involves poetry of some sort and photo(s), Wordless Wednesday.

I've been blogging for a year or so now. I think people begin blogs for whatever reason they begin! The most important thing is that you enjoy gardening and what you're doing. You can participate in whatever you wish. You do or don't have to be an active member of anything, if you don't want to be, or don't have time. There are no requirements. It is fun to visit other sites, get ideas and information, and be inspired. Should not be a competition!

By the way, you have a great site and I've listed you on my right sidebar as gardeners to visit. :-)

  5. Oh, by the way. I had a "brainstorm" the other day about "Summer Inspiration 2008" for a monthly (whenever anyone wants to participate) posting. Details are on my the top of my right sidebar. :-) You could join this, too! lol.

  6. Things I've learned...

    Life is better at blotanical.
    Special days are called "meme".
I found a day for everyday of the week except Friday and Saturday.
There's one for the 1st and the 15th of the month and yes it should be current blooms. And "Green Thumb Sunday" photos don't have to be current.
